How to Mange Add-ons?

Any version of internet explorer, including the IE7 has add-ons. Mozilla and Safari have them too. You can even get add-ons in apps from Apple App-store. The add-ons are designed to help you personalize your internet browser and make it appears with your favorite services including favorite sites.

That means they are all designed to help you save time and access the information you have, when you first made the set-up of those add-ons on your favorite browser. They are also useful to interact with web content, such as games and videos.

But, as always bad guys tend to get access to you and profit from your own use of browsers, they include identifying software to track your browsing, or make money from your browsing. The add-ons cause the browser to run slowly and sometimes make crashes and pose security risks. To increase your browsing speed turn them off.

Browser's extensions, themes and plugins and toolbars are add-ons and there are common add-ons, such as Adobe Flash, Quicktime and Silverlight to play HTML5 and videos. So, in internet explorer do right mouse click to open the app command, or swipe up from the bottom of the screen to click or tap the page tool button and then click to view the desktop.

To view instilled add-ons, open the desktop and click the explorer icon on the task bar. Click the tools button and manage add-ons. Determine what to do at the Show, or All Add-ons.

When you perform the instructions above, select the ad-ons you want to turn off and click disable and click also close. To remove the add-ons, do the instructions above and select the add-ons you want to delete. You'll find add-ons that you could not delete and others you could delete.

If you don't want them, just don't add them. If you want to manage them, see the options available at any browser you are using to do that. If you found the add-ons already installed with the version of the browser, get to the add-ons management to turn them off, or delete them.

In Mozilla, click the menu button and choose add-ons to open the add-ons manager. Select the extensions and appearance panel and select the add-ons you want to disable and click disable. Click restart now, if theta window appears. Do the same to disable plugins, but click to select the plugins panel and then select the plugins you want to disable. Do the same instructions to remove them.
